A New Chapter: Art by Zebrina
We’re halfway through the 20s and I’m reflecting on how expansive the past five years have been for me. From getting married and growing as an artist to recovering from a laparoscopy surgery for endometriosis and getting laid off from my communications career at a Children’s Board of 5 years which allowed me to become a full-time creative freelancer. This journey has been filled with both exhilarating highs and challenging lows, all of which happened for me, not to me.
The past 5 years have been a journey of growth and healing for me. I've been diving deep into my freelance work, sharing women's stories, exploring new cities, reconnecting with my roots, and embracing my own healing process. It’s been a transformative time, and I’ve learned that finding clarity about who you are and what you stand for makes all the difference when building a meaningful business.
