Paint in a Women's Art Gallery | April 16th | Hyde Park, South Tampa

from $25.00
Number of Tickets:

📆 Thursday, April 16 • 6–7:30 PM
📍 OXH Gallery in Hyde House Public Studio [Directions]
1646 W Snow Ave, Tampa, FL 33606

Join us inside OXH Gallery for an intimate Art + Healing paint gathering inspired by the work of exhibiting artist THEK Art & Design.

The Shape of E/Motion explores how emotion moves through material. Not as something fixed, but as something that shifts, evolves, and takes form through both control and surrender.

In this gathering, we’ll reflect on how those same forces show up in our own lives. Where we’re holding tightly, where we’re being asked to soften, and what is naturally trying to emerge.

We’ll create art while surrounded by the work of a woman artist whose practice invites us to trust both structure and spontaneity.

🌿 What We’ll Explore Together

Through guided journaling and watercolor painting, we’ll gently reflect on:

  • Where am I holding control too tightly?

  • Where can I allow more flow or softness?

  • What am I feeling that doesn’t need to be “figured out,” just expressed?

  • What is trying to take shape in my life right now?

🖼️ About OXH Gallery

Owned and curated by Odeta Xheka, OXH Gallery is dedicated to uplifting the work and stories of women artists from around the world. Painting within this space offers a rare opportunity to experience the gallery almost like a private showing, while immersed in women’s artwork.
