Number of Tickets:

✨ A joyful creative wellness gathering for women to reconnect through art, intention, and community.

📆 Saturday, February 21 • 4-6 PM
📍 Ruya • Moroccan Coffee, Tea & Wine Bar in Downtown St. Pete

✨ About the Gathering

Healing doesn’t always look like deep processing. Sometimes, it looks like choosing joy.

Choose Joy is a light, playful Art + Healing paint gathering for women who want to reconnect with creativity as a source of ease, expression, and aliveness. This is an invitation to step away from pressure, expectations, and seriousness — and return to creativity as something you get to enjoy.

Think of this gathering as a creative playdate: a space to paint freely, sip something warm (or sparkling), laugh softly, and let joy be part of the healing process.

No art experience needed. No outcome required.

🌿 What We’ll Explore Together

  • Choosing joy without guilt

  • Letting creativity be playful instead of productive

  • Releasing pressure and perfection

  • Remembering that healing can feel light

  • Creating in community, without comparison

This is a space where joy is practiced, not performed.

🎨 The Creative Flow

You’ll be gently guided through intuitive watercolor prompts designed to help you explore:

  • What joy feels like in your body

  • The colors, shapes, and energy that bring you ease

  • Creative expression without overthinking

There’s no “right” way to paint here. You’re welcome to move at your own pace: paint, pause, journal, sip, or simply be.

Enjoy coffee, tea, or wine from Ruya as you create in a warm, welcoming space designed for slowing down and savoring the moment.

🌱 What’s Included

  • All watercolor supplies (paints, brushes, paper)

  • Guided creative and reflection prompts

  • A calm, cozy environment for slowing down

  • Photo & video content of the experience

  • Your watercolor piece(s) to take home as a reminder that joy belongs in your life

📸 A Content-First Experience

This gathering is designed so you can stay fully present while the moments are gently captured for you. Throughout the evening, we’ll take photos and short video clips that reflect the creativity, connection, and energy of the experience.

After the event, you’ll receive access to a private gallery with images and videos you’re welcome to keep, share, or simply revisit as a memory of the night.

No posing required. Just come as you are.

🪞 Why This Matters

So often, healing asks us to go inward, reflect, and work through something. This gathering offers something just as important: permission to feel good.

Choosing joy is not avoidance. It’s regulation, nourishment, and resilience. It’s a reminder that creativity doesn’t always have to be serious to be meaningful.

💛 What to Bring

  • Yourself

  • Comfortable clothing

  • Curiosity and openness

  • A journal if you’d like to write more extended thoughts
