A Valentine’s Paint Gathering for Self-Love, Reflection & Creative Care

📆 Saturday, February 14 • 4-6 PM
📍 Ruya • Moroccan Coffee, Tea & Wine Bar in Downtown St. Pete

✨ About the Gathering

Love Notes to Ourselves is a women-centered Art + Healing paint gathering designed to explore self-love as an ongoing relationship with yourself — one rooted in compassion, empowerment, and care. Instead of writing love letters outward, we’ll turn inward and create something meaningful for ourselves.

Through painting, reflection, and intention, we’ll write love notes to:

  • our inner child

  • our present self

  • or our future self

You’re invited to choose whatever feels most resonant.

This is not about fixing yourself. It’s about honoring who you are and who you’re becoming.

🎨 What to Expect

We’ll be painting upcycled wine bottles, transforming them into hand-painted flower vases as a symbolic and sustainable creative ritual.

Your painted bottle can become:

  • a vase for fresh flowers

  • a visual reminder of your self-love

  • or a keepsake you return to when you need encouragement

You’ll also have time to write a love note to yourself, which you can tuck inside the bottle or keep privately — a message meant just for you.

No art experience is needed. You’re welcome to paint, write, pause, sip, or simply be present.

Enjoy coffee, tea, or wine from Ruya as you create in a cozy, welcoming space designed for slowing down and connecting.

  • Speaking to ourselves with kindness and affirmation

  • Honoring growth, healing, and resilience

  • Creating beauty from something once used — and giving it new life

This experience is designed to feel warm, empowering, and quietly celebratory.
