Spring Equinox Paint Gathering | Mar. 21st

from $25.00
Number of Tickets:

We’re celebrating the first day of spring and the astrological new year with a cozy watercolor paint gathering at Ruya. We’ll reflect on the seeds we’ve been planting this year and paint in honor of the season’s energy.

📆 Saturday, February 28 • 3-5 PM
📍 Ruya • Moroccan Coffee, Tea & Wine Bar in Downtown St. Pete

✨ About the Gathering

Spring Equinox marks a powerful turning point in the year.

It’s the moment when day and night are in balance. When the earth begins to bloom again. When the astrological new year begins. While January invites us to set intentions, the equinox asks something different:

Are you ready to nurture what you planted?

This Art + Healing paint gathering is a creative experience to honor the natural cycles happening around us and within us. As the season shifts into spring, we’re invited to:

  • move from reflection into gentle action

  • nourish the intentions we’ve already set

  • release what no longer aligns

  • and step forward with clarity and renewal

This gathering is especially meaningful as it marks one full year of hosting Art + Healing paint gatherings. What began as a simple idea has grown into a beautiful rhythm of creativity and connection. I would love to celebrate that milestone with you!

You’re welcome to paint, journal, sip, reflect, or simply be.

No art experience needed. Just openness to create art for the joy of it!

🌿 What We’ll Explore Together

During this gathering, we’ll reflect on:

  • What intentions have begun to take root this year?

  • What still needs nurturing, patience, or attention?

  • What are you ready to see bloom this season?

  • What are you releasing to create space for growth?

Spring reminds us that growth is natural, but it doesn’t happen overnight. The equinox invites us to align with balance, renewal, and the quiet wisdom of cycles.

🪞 Why Spring Equinox Matters

The equinox is a moment of equilibrium (equal light and equal dark), reminding us that growth requires both rest and action. This gathering is a gentle invitation to:

  • Align with nature instead of rushing it

  • Trust your own timing

  • Celebrate how far you’ve come

  • Consciously choose what you’re nurturing next

Let’s honor the season together, the seeds that were planted, the community that has grown over one year of hosting Art + Healing gatherings, and the beauty still unfolding.

I’d love to paint with you 🌸

💛 What to Bring
