✨ About the Experience
Remember how exciting field trips felt as a child? Exploring somewhere new, learning something unexpected, and experiencing the world through fresh eyes.
This gathering is inspired by that feeling.
Ladies, let’s take a Film Trips experience and paint floral bouquets while surrounded by flowers. Hosted by Art + Healing, this gathering is designed for women who want to reconnect with creativity, community, and themselves through an evening at Padmé Flower Farm.
Together, we'll take an excursion to one of St. Pete's most beautiful hidden gems: a woman-owned urban flower farm growing seasonal blooms by hand in the heart of the Warehouse Arts District.
We'll spend the evening surrounded by flowers, learning about the farm and its story, painting fresh floral arrangements in watercolor, and documenting the experience through beautiful lifestyle portraits among the blooms.
This is not a paint class.
It's an invitation to slow down, explore somewhere new, and experience what happens when creativity, nature, and community come together.
Since June marks the end of flower season, this gathering offers one of the final opportunities to experience Padmé Flower Farm before the next round of blooms returns in the fall.
🌿 What is a Film Trip content experience?
Film Trips content experiences are creator-led experiences that bring people together while creating content.
Think of it like a field trip for grown-ups.
Each Film Trip takes place at a unique local destination and combines creativity, storytelling, community, and documentation.
Photography and video will be captured throughout the evening to celebrate the beauty of women gathering in nature, creating art, and connecting in community. Guests will receive access to a complimentary online gallery following the event.
Production company Film Trips documents the human side of brands, organizations, and communities through experiential storytelling.
🎨 Experience Flow
6:30–6:45 PM | Welcome, Introductions + Guided Reflection
We'll begin by hearing from Mallika, founder of Padmé Flower Farm, who will share the story behind the farm, the flowers currently blooming, and the vision behind creating an urban flower farm in St. Pete.
You'll then be guided through a journaling reflection to help you slow down and enter creative flow.
6:45–7:30 PM | Watercolor Painting Among the Flowers
Gathered around family-style tables adorned with fresh floral centerpieces, we'll paint together while enjoying the beauty of the farm at golden hour.
No painting experience is necessary.
7:30–8:00 PM | Divine Feminine Portrait Experience
As the sun begins to set, you'll have the opportunity to be photographed among the flowers with your artwork and blooms.
These portraits are designed to celebrate your creativity, softness, presence, and the beauty of this season of your life. Because you deserve to exist in the memories you're creating.
🌸 What we'll explore together
Through journaling, watercolor, and gentle conversation, we'll explore:
Slowing down enough to notice beauty
What is currently blooming in your life
Appreciating seasons of growth, rest, and transition
Creativity as a practice of presence
The connection between nature, art, and well-being
